How could I forget my two favorite pictures from the trip?  Now I know- sleep on blog post before publishing. 

Last year around this time I was in Amsterdam visiting my dear friend Riley.  To be in her presence is what I imagine might have been like to hang with the "Good Queen Bess" Elizabeth I.   She is majestic, inspiring and a hell of a lot of fun.  Her blog "roe" prompted me to start my own and so it felt right for my maiden voyage into this world to be filled with pictures from that wondrous week.  Thanks Riles - let's do it again soon.
